The Maximizer features two transparent limiting algorithms (IRC I and IRC II) along with the Threshold Learn feature which adjusts the limiting threshold automatically based on a user-defined LUFS value. The user has access to iZotope’s flagship Ozone Equalizer, Ozone Maximizer, and Ozone Imager effects which are borrowed from the full version of Ozone 8. The audio processing modules are positioned on the left and the metering tools are located on the right. The user interface is optimized for a fast and efficient mastering workflow. The software also includes a range of mastering presets for various music styles, ranging from rock and pop to rap and EDM. The suggested settings can then be customized by the user to produce the final mastered track.
You can also select the target platform (streaming, radio, CD, etc.) and let the software AI analyze the audio on the input to come up with the best possible parameter settings. One of the coolest tools in Ozone 8 Elements is the Master Assistant which suggests the mastering chain based on the properties of your mix and a reference track of your choice.
